And let's not forget the special election of Childers in Louisiana, which picked us up yet another seat (the first time in decades a party has one three special elections before the cycle official gets under way), pushed the Republicans under 200 in the House, and gave us our first solid evidence that the feared Republican line of attack on Obama and down ticket races, that of the dreaded liberal label and race baiting, don't work in even the most conservative of districts.
As much as last week got the media to finally make the same assessment the progressive blogs made weeks ago and changed the narrative, this is the week that sealed the deal for Sen. Obama.
